Sniffin Around STL Scent Work Club is pleased to host AKC Scent Work Judge, Natalie McManus, CNWI, for a seminar on Distractions.
This seminar will focus on all types of distractions; toys, food, human and auditory along some out of the ordinary items. Helping to build stronger odor to obedience under challenging scenarios. It is open to all dogs on odor, of all skill levels, novice - master.
There will only be 10 working slots available for dogs and handlers, with an unlimited number of auditing spots for handlers only (no dogs) to observe and ask questions.

When: Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 9 :00am - 12:15pm
Seminar Fees:
$75.00 for a working spot (one dog & handler) for club members
$95.00 for a working spot (one dog & handler) for non-club members
$35.00 for an auditing spot for club members
$55.00 for an auditing spot for non-club members
Working slots for this event will be offered via random draw. To enter the random draw for a working slots at this seminar, complete the form below, listing your full name, your dogs name and email address. The random draw will be held on December 17, 2025. If you are selected for a working slot, you will be sent an email with directions on how to complete the official entry form and submit the fee. You will have 48 hours from the date/time the email is sent to respond to reserve your slot.

November 29, 2025 (Saturday) - AKC Scent Work Match to be held at Florissant Valley Memorial Post 444, located at 17090 Old Jamestown Road, Florissant, MO 63034. All elements offered (buried, interiors, exteriors and containers) at all levels (novice, advanced, excellent and master) with Judges Chris Ruddock and Brenda Steely.
